Not taking a walk or bike ride along the lakefront. The lakefront is one of Chicago’s greatest assets, and it’s a great place to get some exercise, enjoy the fresh air, and take in the views.

Not being prepared for the weather. Chicago weather can be unpredictable, so it’s important to be prepared for anything. Pack an umbrella, sunscreen, and a jacket, just in case.

By avoiding these mistakes, you can ensure that your trip to Chicago is a memorable one.

PS one of my favorite things to do for an amazing view of the city when the weather is nice is to take the water taxi from Navy Pier to the Shedd Aquarium, talk about fantastic views of the city!!
